The Domestic Installer Qualification (DISQ) is a qualification that is key for those individuals who want to prepare themselves to register with a self certifyng body so they can sign off their own work. For example this might include a Kitchen Fitter, who has to fit Pelmet lights or sockets. Other associated traders might include:
- Heating Engineers,
- Garden Electricians,
- Plumbers,
- Bathroom Fitters,
- Conservatory and Double Glazing fitters, etc.
This course, more commonly known as Part P, lasts for 5 days, it covers both the theory and practice of electrical installation. Candidates will also gain useful insight into the current Building Regulations 2000. Upon successful completion of the course delegates will be awarded with a certificate accredited by EAL.
