Booking procedure & confirmation
Bookings can normally be accepted at any time up to the course start date, subject to availability. For some City & Guilds courses bookings made after a certain deadline will incur additional charges. Such charges are advised at the time of booking. Provisional bookings can be made over the telephone and held for 2 weeks or until 2 weeks before the course starts, whichever is sooner. A place is not secured until a fully completed signed booking form has been received by email, post or fax and full payment has been made. While a booking is still provisional, Mastech Training Limited reserves the right to allocate the place to another customer. On receipt of your signed booking form, joining instructions will be sent to the delegate(s)/organisation as indicated on the booking forms.
Payment terms
Full payment should normally be made at least 7 days prior to the start of the course unless a prior arrangement has been agreed. Delegates will not be able to commence a course until full payment has been received. Invoices are normally issued either on immediate receipt of a completed booking form or 8 weeks before the course is due to start (whichever is later) For bookings made less than 2 weeks before the start of the course, immediate full payment is normally required unless prior arrangement has been agreed.
Delegate suitability
Mastech Training Limited will carry out initial assessments in our courses to assess learning needs, skills, attitude and knowledge. Where required, proof for previous learning, such as certificates, should be provided by the first morning of a course. Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the course is suitable for his/her requirements. All delegates should have read and understood the course outline and met the necessary entry requirements.
Delegate substitutions
If you would like to make a delegate substitution, please contact our training centre as various periods of notice may be required and various administration fees may apply.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Occasionally, you may need to cancel or reschedule a course. If you wish to cancel or reschedule a course after your signed booking form has been returned to Mastech Training Limited, we will make every effort to accommodate your new requirements. The following cancellation and rescheduling charges may apply:
Fewer than 10 working days notice of cancellation or amendment – 100% of invoice or payment.
10 to 15 workings days’ notice of cancellation or amendment – 50% of invoice or payment.
16 working days’ notice and over – £50 admin charge.
Change in exam date only – £50 admin charge plus awarding body fees (if applicable).
In the unlikely event that your training course does not take place after we have received your signed booking form, Mastech Training Limited will make every effort to reschedule the course. If this is not possible, alternative arrangements could be made. Mastech Training Limited will not be liable for any costs incurred by the customer as a result of booking a course that is later cancelled or rescheduled.
